• rendering in correct proportion and perspective
• modeling forms with light and dark chiaroscuro
• reinforcing form through articulation of negative space
• including a personal symbol into the composition

Assignment: Make a composition of at least three overlapping hands based on direct observation. Consider your composition, and create an asymmetric layout with at least two hands overlapping. The renderings should include internal details, but the richest tones should be around the hands in negative space.
