This project focuses on:

• Drawing from observation
• Learning blind and modified contour drawing
• Designing a symmetrical composition by reating and rotating an image four times
• Repeating colors in each of the shoes to create an overall rhythm

Assignment: Draw your shoe with modified cocntour line, after doing several blind contour drawings. Pay attention to to detail, work slowly, and use a continuous line that follows inside and outside edges. Once complete, trace the shoe on a square paper, rotating it along each edge of the paper, allowing the toe and heel to overlap. Colo in the shapes, using the same color for each repeating shape in all four sneakers. Develop a line design in the center area with black marker.
