Grid Painting Project
This project focuses on:
- reproducing and enlarging an image with the gridding technique
- mixing colors to approximate existing hues
- painting using techniques of drybrush and layering of colors
- recognizing that a single image can be combined with others to create a complex composition
Assignment: Reproduce a part of a famous painting, matching colors and brushstroke. Use the Gridding technique to lay out the image. The section you reproduce may be combined with others to re-create the entire painting.
